MAX GOES TO THE POND

Max loved going to the pond. He had been there before, so he wasn’t so curious.  One day they went to the park.  Max was aware of the island because it took him a long time to figure out how to get off.  Even though he saw some mice, he didn’t jump.  They went to the playground part.  He loved climbing the stairs.  He liked to walk across the plank and when he got high enough, he went down the slide.  But he was so cute, little boys wanted to take him home.  They chased him around the park until he was out of breath.  They sneakily carried him to their van but Max had an idea.  The little boys had lots of candy in their pockets.  He took the candy out of the bag, grabbed the candy in his mouth and shook it back and forth, back and forth.  He threw the candy on the sand.  The little boy wanted his candy back.  He dropped Max and ran for the candy.  He ran back to the car and jumped into the door.  Ryan was happy he returned!
